Children’s Trilingual Songs (Indonesian, English, and Javanese) as Media for Strengthening the Diversity Character of Elementary School Students

Bhineka Tunggal Ika reflects national identity, which contains cultural diversity values in Indonesia. Issues of intolerance and globalization often found Indonesia are the main reasons for instilling children’s character about through trilingual songs. This study aims to create develop songs three languages (trilingual), namely Indonesian, English, Javanese, as an effort strengthen tolerance diversity. research is a type development (RD) using ASSURE model by combining qualitative quantitative methods (mixed method). Data collection was carried out method observation, interviews, written input on assessment sheet. Meanwhile, data collected questionnaires sheets percentage from experts users. The results show that song “Harmony Diversity” can be used educational medium educating children have global outlook but still love language preserve regional languages. because they studied, expressed, appreciated with meanings lyrics. “Harmoni dalam Keberagaman” declared feasible applicable learning at elementary school level. evidenced validation results, all indicators, components, language, appearance, audiovisual media engineering, implementation, get very criteria, average score 89.59%. aspect gets highest display aspect, 90.48%, lowest visual design component component, 87.5%..
